MARGIELA X CHARLIE ANDERSON
Some people like to keep their trainers squeaky clean, and others prefer their trainers to be as dirty as their mind, so when we saw these trainers pop up in our inbox we couldn’t help but feel it captures our inner artist. At £335 they aren’t exactly the budget option when you can probably just wear a pair of your own trainers whilst giving a wall a fresh coat of paint, but then again they are Maison Martin Margiela…..enough said.
However what also came to mind whilst viewing these is a great artist who we’ve been a fan of for some time, Charlie Anderson. You could just imagine him having worn a pair of sparkly white trainers and then within a few hours the end result being what you see represented here by Margiela, of which would perfectly finish off his paint splattered vest and jeans look (if only we could all look as good this messy). Charlie graduated in 2009 and has gained much publicity from his stay in LA where he has an exhibition at the Fabien Castanier Gallery, not bad for a Scottish fella. His work is based on using a mix of imagery from the music and film industry to advertising, and thus creates that billboard effect using layering and paint, which looks young, fresh and exciting.
Maison Martin Margiela trainers can be purchased here

SECONDHAND & VINTAGE LONDON
No matter how much we all love the Internet sometimes you can't beat a good book - especially when your on the train/plane with no signal or need to fill up your bookshelf. Secondhand and Vintage London is the perfect book for browsing, written by Andrew Whittaker whose passion lies in vintage finds the book is a one-stop shop for everything vintage in London.
The book is divided into four sections: Clothing & Accessories, Books, Music and Memorabilia, Home and Garden, and Only in London. The second half contains maps of each area - who needs an A to Z - with QR codes which connect to interactive maps. It's a great way to discover new shops in different areas and we certainly learnt a thing or two.

FABULOUS FACIAL: NATURAL FACELIFT
We're product junkies, we love nothing more than trying out new creams, lipsticks, miracle potions or anything else which claims to make us 10 years younger - who doesn't want to look younger right? So when we were invited to try the Natural Facelift with Paola Bassanese we weren't quite sure what to expect.
Located just moments from Great Portland Street tube, the treatment room is on the top floor of a converted church. The thing which makes the facial standout from the others we've tried is that the natural facelift rejuvenation treatment uses no products, that's right no toner, no masks and no moisturiser. The Natural Facelift lasts 60 minutes and uses various massage techniques, targetting pressure points to remove excess water, alleviate puffiness and smooth out fine lines.
It's great for those with senstive skin and it certainly left our face looking plumper and brighter the next day. Are we converts? Well Paola Bassanese certainly has great skin for her age and the one-hour treatment was super relaxing, but we're not ready to empty our bathroom cabinets just yet.

DOES MY BUM LOOK BIG IN THIS...
Infographic Produced by Very.co.uk
It looks like celebrity fashion ranges are all the rage these days, first it was Agyness and Dr Martens and now Very.co.uk have teamed up with young hippsters Jameela Jamil, Fearne Cotton and the voluptuous Holly Willoughby to muster up some snazy going out dresses from Very. What’s more the very.co.uk ranges have been designed in a style which suits each celebrity, so if you are one of those people who finds online shopping a little scary for the fear of buying something your bum looks big in, then you can select the celeb style which suits you best! And what’s more the pieces are modelled on the website by the celebs so you can see what they look like on them. Bloody genious!
Boys take note, this is the perfect opportunity to buy the misses a present and not have to lie when she asks you that dread question (don’t worry you’re not alone 37% of men do lie!). Just look at which of the three celebs most match her style and shape and click away. What’s more even if her bum does look big, the fact that its designed by her favourite celeb will numb then pain – or so we hope!
Here’s our pick of the bunch...

DR MARTENS X AGYNESS DEYN
She’s credited with bringing Dr Martens back into fashion and now Agyness Deyn has teamed up with the cult brand to create her very own range. The range will include clothing, footwear and accessories and is available in stores this month. The pieces have been influenced by popular cultural references from music, film, TV and style.
Most of the pieces have been modelled by Agy herself. Our highlights include the black velour maxi-dress (£55), the floral daisy dress (£100) and the velvet creepers (£130).

MCQ PRINTED COLLECTION...
These beautiful and intricate printed pieces, which include a camouflage bomber jacket, shirt and t-shirt are truly worth investing in, if ever there was a reason to own a matching shirt, jacket and t-shirt combo now is the time! Personally we think they’re missing the matching trousers and underwear too, but for now we will have to make do with a shirt and jacket teamed with some black trousers.
McQ has surprisingly taken a whole new direction in the past 12 months, now under the Alexander McQueen studio and the talented eye of Sarah Burton, McQ reflects more of the aesthetics of the main line catwalk collection. With the recent launch of the store opening on Dover Street and the website having a reboot with the opportunity to now shop online it all seems full speed ahead for McQ.

PRODUCT LOVE: KISS EYELASHES...
We have to admit we are pretty useless at applying falsies at home which is why we'll usually splurge and get some professionally done if we've got a big event coming up. But if cash and time don't allow it then we think we might just have found the solution! Introducing Kiss Ever Easy False Eyelashes...
The box says they are "5 times faster and easier to apply" and we'll happily back that one up. The lashes are attached to strings which means they can be put into position without actually having to touch the lashes themselves - for us this was perhaps the best part as we usually end up with glue on our fingers which then attaches to another part of the lashes and ends up in one big mess!
Once you've got the lashes in place you gently press down to secure them, then a quick tug of the string and voila. The string pulls away and you are left with well applied lashes, no mess and sexy eyes - eye eye captain!
The lashes come in a range of shapes and sizes and cost £6.50 from Boots.

TATTOO YOUR SHOE POP UP
Oh how things have moved on from the days of using felt-tip pen to colour in your trainers. Shoe decoration has been taken up a few notches with the aid of this ‘Tattoo Your Shoe’ Pop up from Oliver Sweeney. Launching today in Selfridges, shoe customisation is sure to be all the rage allowing customers to add illustrative designs to their favourite Sweeneys.
You can get as creative as you like and they can accomplish the same effect as any single colour tattoo. There is also Tamponato, which allows colour to be applied to the shoe in successive layers with the aid of brushes and sponges giving rich antique patina. This can be applied after the ‘shoe tattoo’ to further detail the customisation. The pop-up is open on the first floor Men’s Shoes department until 19th August.
