Every now and then a product comes along that we like to rave about. This month it’s the Organic Care Systems Aqua Boost Range. The range protects hair from UV damage (not much danger of that at the moment) and adds moisture and shine to the dullest of locks - ours included.

We have been using the Aqua Boost Shampoo, Conditioner and Treatment on our frazzled mop and it’s looking pretty good. What’s more the products are formulated from certified organic extracts, thus providing guilt free pampering.

As we say goodbye to Winter we say hello to head scarfs. Head scarfs are the next biggest accessory this Spring. We're lusting over the Miu Miu polka dot scarf we featured below but our bank balance says NO! so we’re going cheap with this floral silk look print scarf.

We're loving the new Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2011 collection with its playful polka dots, silk scarfs, floaty blouses and satin sandals. Perfect for adding a slash of colour to an otherwise blue January.

BRIGHT NEW THINGS….

Selfridges are celebrating the stars of the future with their “Bright New Things” campaign. The campaign sees 10 designers dress the famous store windows and sell their designs online and in store. Designers include Lilee, Alex Noble and Kirsty Ward.

We are loving these Sophie Stephens Tees (the lady behind Henry Holland’s cheeky t-shirt collection) which are a bargain at £60. This Blondie one screams festivals.

HAIRCUT 100: RUSH

LondOntheInside tried out the newest branch of London hair salon chain RUSH located in One New Change. The salon is clean, bright and airy and on a Tuesday night had a steady flow of customers. After a short consolation with our stylist Omorfi we were treated to a wash and massage in a vibrating chair before been chopped, trimmed and blow-dried.

The stylist used a wash-in Brown Sugar hair dye, Shu Uemura products and introduced use to Kerastase Serum Oleo Relax (Good stuff!). We left the salon with a shiny new do and for once we were happy with our haircut - Omorfi actually listened to us. So if you’re looking for a new chop, check them out - with 50% off any service now, it’d be rude not to!

The sixth Asish for Topshop collection is about to hit stores - happy? That’s an understatement!

We are currently in love with the Asish Spring/Summer collection. Remember the hareem pants we featured last year?

The new designs will be a collection of printed t-shirts inspired by the fast-food industry. The collection is made up of two oversized t-shirts and two sweatshirts with images of junk food on. These include an ice cream sundae, a fried breakfast in the shape of a smiley face, a hotdog 'happy meal' and a colourful iced doughnut.

Affectionately known by the style set as the 'King of Sequins', Ashish Gupta first worked with Topshop in 2004 when he won NEW GEN sponsorship. His collections mix sportswear and high-octane glamour, often using bright colours, sequins and prints.

This collection will be available in Oxford Circus, Brompton Road, Selfridges and New York stores and on Topshop's website from January.

MUG WATCH: MEN

OSMIUM products are made for men, real men....like us! The products contain natural ingredients such as plant actives, vitamins and minerals, and they are 99% preservative free. They claim to "awaken the radiant health of your skin" and ours needed re-awakening, espcially after the festive season!

We tried a few different products. The Clean and Refresh Cleanser Facewash which left our face clean and fresh, without a stinging aftermath, always a bonus. £14 for 125ml tube.

The Peak Performance Energise & Renew Moisturiser which prepared us for the dull January weather. A little bit goes a long way and we swear we were getting looks in the street from our newly energised mug. At £22 for a 100ml tube it maybe be a little steep, but can you put a price on looking good?

The Cellular Renew Anti-Ageing Crème, our favourite product from the range left our skin glowing. £27 for a 100ml tube.

EVENT: BUY MY WARDROBE….

If one of your news years resolutions is to be more green then this is for you (and if it isn’t it should be!). London’s premier fashion recycling event is back on Sat 29th Jan. Buy My Wardrobe sees a group of shopaholics, designers, stylists and fashion industry insiders (collectively known as the ‘wardrobe mistresses’) open the doors to their stylish closets.

The event takes place at Adam St Members Club. Each wardrobe mistress will have their own boutique-style space to set up shop for the day. Expect to find pre-loved designer items ranging from Chanel and Gucci to Preen and Vivienne Westwood at up to 75% off retail prices.

There will also be mini style consultations, a vintage remake workshop, manicures and a book signing and style talk by Bethanie Lunn of “The Modern Girl's Guide To Fabulousness”.
