We're loving these J Brand jeans, available exclusively at Selfridges for 30 days before moving to Harrods. J Brand's camouflage brigade jeans are the season's new 'It' trouser. Katy Perry and Rihanna have already been spotted rocking them. Tapping into this season's military trend, these leggings are super skinny, and feature a glossy wax finish and four faux pockets.

SALON SPOTLIGHT: RADIO HAIR SALON

Radio Hair salon is located on uber cool Redchurch Street in Shoreditch. The salon which doubles up as an art gallery fits right in with its trendy neighbours. With music industry clients including Kate Nash, Razorlight and The Killers as well as experience assisting with hair at Westwood, McQueen and D & G events we thought it only right we checked it out.....

The salon is impressive, having just opened in September the interiors are bright, clean and spacious which means there is relaxed atmosphere, even when it is full.

We had our do, done by Oskar Pera, Radio's Art Director. Oskar has been cutting hair for 12 years and knows his stuff. After a consultation we headed over to the basins for a full 15 minute head massage with Bumble & Bumble products, heaven! Radio has been chosen by Bumble & Bumble to be the first salon to represent their brand in Britain. Quite an achievement!

Whilst Oskar went to work we sat back with a cuppa and stroked the Chihuahua......yes that's right stroked the salon Chihuahua! Could this salon get any cooler??

One hour on our hair was transformed into a thicker, shinier do complete with newly added fringe. We liked Radio, we liked it a lot. The team were friendly, Oskar was the bomb and most importantly the haircut was the snizzle.

Radio is open 7 days a week with prices starting at £40. If your looking for a new hairdressers try it, we think you'll like it.

STYLE TALK

LondOntheInside caught up with local Fashionista Terry Jane to talk about fashion, style and trends. Terry works on the Vivienne Westwood Anglomania concession in Selfridges. This is what she had to say....

US: We love Anglomania, what's your tip for this season?

Terry Jane: Our best sellers are the 1950’s inspired ‘Friday’ dresses, they have lots of volume with a structured corset detailed body, they are available in a variety of colours and patterned fabrics.

US: Your looking very cool today who's your favourite designer and design influences?"

Terry Jane: My favourite classic designer is Balenciaga for his ‘Boxy’ silhouettes and structured tailoring. I am heavily influenced by Victor & Rolf for their imaginative and playful design ethos. My style is a mix of jumble sale, grannies closet and Halloween party, a collection of old and new with a dash of gothic black. I mainly shop in second hand stores. The thrift stores around East London are the most interesting my own favourites are Rocket and Absolute Vintage.

US: Where does Terry Jane like to hang out?

Terry Jane: The Victoria just down from Mile End tube. It's close enough to home to pop in for a quick drink and there’s a very warm welcoming atmosphere. They have board games, pub quizzes, hairdressers, live music and quirky furniture.

Thanks Terry Jane

GIANT FILL A BAG JUMBLE SALE...

This Saturday and Sunday sees the return of the popular East End Thrift Store jumble sale. The entire first floor of the store will be jam packed full of treats for you to stuff in your bag. The facebook promises plenty of ‘knitwear’ and piles of dresses, denim, leather and suede.

The concept is simple and can be compared to Supermarket Sweep. First you grab a bag – medium or large, then you fill it with as much stock as you can fit in it, remember to beat your opponents! Then it’s over to the check out where you pay either £10 for a medium or £20 for a large.

That is a Super Sweep right there, Dale Winton would be proud!

Sun 24th Oct 11.30am - 7pm

LONDON LABEL...

At the heart of the industrial Docklands, sits a small factory nestled between the overhead DLR railings and a scaffolding yard. This is home to the E One Six London studio.

Inside you will find fashion designer Daniel Blake creating new collections for his menswear label ‘E One Six London’. Described by Daniel, as a “Shirt Revolution targeting the urban man on the move” the collection pays homage to its East London location with shirts such as the Cutty Sark, Bow Church and East India.

We managed to tie Daniel down and demand he share his knowledge:

US: So, what are Daniel Blake's key trends this season?

DB: For 2010 E One Six London is all about detail. Shirts are patched and panelled giving them a more casual look for the office. Quirky detailing yet always subtle enough that you have to look twice to see the twist.

US: We are loving the E One Six London collection, what is your favourite piece?

DB: My personal favorite is the style Cutty Sark. I have been wearing this style all season. It's so versitile and looks fantastic worn dressed up or down for a night out or a day in the office. The best thing is that the more you wash this Oxford shirt the better it looks. Check it out for yourself.

US: Finally tell us about your favourite hang outs in London?

DB: Recently one of my favorite hang outs is Bermondsey Street in SE1. It's fast becoming a real destination and has some fantastic restaurants and bars with lots of little design studios popping up under the arches around London Bridge.

What a treat...

So if your looking for sharp shirts check out the collection online. With 20% off throughout October there has never been a better time to buy!

PRODUCT ALERT: SCHWARZKOPF OSIS HAIR DUST...

This autumn is all about the messy hair. Think Kate Moss leaving the recent Vogue party. Ok, not that messy but you get the picture. Head East to Dalston or Shoreditch and you’ll see a swarm of messy dos touching the ceilings.

A friend recently recommended Schwarzkopf Osis Hair Dust and so not wanting to be off trend, we tried it. This stuff is magic, it instantly mattifies the hair on contact and unlike hairspray you can mould and change your style until you get it just right. You can find it online for a fiver and a big tub lasts forever!

Just be careful not to use to much or you may end up looking a little Halloween – although seen as it is only the end of the month it wouldn’t be that bad…
